Where Do You Put A Garmin Gps On The Windshield? Lower Left, In The Middle?

The GPS will function as long as it has power and can see the sky (3 GPS satellites).
I like to put mine on the lower left side of the windsheild where I can see it, but it won’t block my view of traffic. I purchased a GPS mounting pad for my wife so she can but her GPS receiver on the dashboard. It works well and leaves no telltale rings on the windshield.
Portable GPS receivers are sought by many thieves. If they see a ring on the windsheild, they know there’s a good chance they will find A GPS receiver in the glove box.

You shouldn’t need any adhesive, (unless you are trying to take the convenience of portability out of it) the suction cup will hold it. I wet the suction cup a little and stick it to a clean windshield and it holds until I take it down.

How To Remove Garmin’s Adhesive Disk (for Handheld Gps) From My Car’s Windshield?

I stuck Garmin adhesive disk for handheld GPS onto my car’s windshield without seeing Garmin’s note that it is “permanent”!
I’m planning to sell my car and the buyer wants none of it!
What is the safest (/simplest) way to remove this dashboard adhesive disk?
