i dont think you can use them while they are hooked up to your computer or wall charger but you should be able to use it while hooked up to you car cigarette lighter and if not its defective.

Addresses are often times calculated by block on these types of systems- especially in GPS systems, which have street addresses overlaying the actual coordinates.
Here’s a good way to see this in action- go to Google Maps and look up your address, or an address that you are familiar with. You will notice that the point that shows up is pretty close to where you know it to be, but it is often times off (for instance, my house is in my neighbor’s yard).

Go ahead and buy the Sandisk 8GB SD card it is compatible with Garmin nuvi and also cheaper than Garmin SD
So even when my wife isn’t with me I will be pleasantly reminded of her. Just curious if there was somewhere out there where I could download other voices not sanctioned by Garmin.
i contacted garmin but they said they charge 225 to fix it. i really can not return it. is there any other way of getting past the pin?
