Who Maufactures Toyota’s Gps Systems. Will I Get A Better Unit From Garmin?

I belief it would be Denso, because they are one of the biggest supplier for automotive navigation system, the only japanese co. in the top 3 global supplier list.
Garmin does not supply to automotive industry (or at east not in the top 10), but they are the market leader in the consumer market, specifically handheld version.
Functional wise the automotive version has more functionality and is much more durable compare to consumer market version but it is stuckk inside your car (0 mobility).
For you question, if you define better is as of in mobility with basic navigation function, I would say YES YES YES
If you definition of better is as of durability, functionality & integration to the other of you car multimedia functionality, the answer is a BIG NO NO

Does The Garmin Nuvi 350 Navigational Unit Come With A Remote Control Or Which Garmin Gps Does?

The Nuvi 350 doesn’t have a remote but I found that didn’t bother me.
I had a remote with my Streetpilot 2610 but I realized I never really used it except to make sure it worked. I wouldn’t let the remote make my decision.

Garmin Nuvi 200 Uk/ireland. What Is The Latest Version Of Preloaded Map In This Unit?

Where To Buy New / Used Garmin Waas Certified Unit?

My boss is looking to replace the Garmin unit in his small plane.
Looking to buy a Garmin GNS-530W, GPS-500W, GNS-430W, GNC-420W, or a GPS-400W unit.
Does anyone know where he can purchase a nice used unit or a new unit?
I have searched eBay and Craigslist, but not a lot of results.

How To Find The Garmin Gpsmap 695/696 Unit Id?

Check out page 18 – ‘Turning the Unit On/Off’
Follow the instructions, and look for the ‘MAP’ page – it contains the ‘Unit ID’.

My Garmin Nuvi 360 Back Light Comes On When The Unit Is Powered On But I Cannot View The Icons Or Menu.?

It is fully charged, has the latest firmware and I have tried to reset it. Although I cannot view anything it appears to “work” because it beeps when I touch some areas of the screen.
