Is It True All Garmin Gps Can Have Any Countries’ Maps Loaded And Still Work? Especially Singapore And Usa?

NO ! non of GPS in the market can loaded maps for ” any countries “. Garmin support Mose of the countries maps. usually the memory will not support more the 3 countries maps.Some model sold in Singapore will only support Singapore / Malaysia maps. you need to ” BUY ” for other countries. you must paid for it, and is not cheap. from USD 190.oo.ie..if you get Garmin from Singapore, Local and Malaysia maps is come with the unit.is FREE. but not USA or other countries maps is loaded !

Is It True That I Would Need To Update The Maps On A Brand New Garmin Nuvi No Matter Which Model I Buy?

I was told the garmin gps comes with maps dated 2005 and I would have to purchase the more up-to-date versions at an extra charge.
