This Garmin has option for car/motorcycle, truck, bus, emergency, and taxi. I’ve used it as a truck route, and it has lead me to low clearance bridges, low weight limited bridges, and very narrow downtown turns. Is this GPS equiped with truck route? If not, then why is the option there? Somebody please help me
your better off buying a gps that is setup for truckers its more reliable than tryin to download on to one thats setup for cars
Up until recently you would have to purchase a laptop based navigation system for truck routing which wasn’t very good. Right now there is a new company that makes specific portable GPS for truck drivers where you can input your height, length and weight and it will guide you around all low bridges and restricted routes. You can even add a back-up camera that would work right on the same screen. I never personally owned it but I heard good reviews so far.
