This Garmin has option for car/motorcycle, truck, bus, emergency, and taxi. I’ve used it as a truck route, and it has lead me to low clearance bridges, low weight limited bridges, and very narrow downtown turns. Is this GPS equiped with truck route? If not, then why is the option there? Somebody please help me
Simple answer is you can’t……..easily that is. You need the complete (now outdated) software to do that, and you might not be able to upload it. You should be able to use your existing garmin charts, for your area, but I understand your desires. I’ve tried this before and had no success. I got a 2010, and can do everything I need to right on the unit.

im stuck between getting the Garmin nüvi 260w or the tomtom xl330 s, the only think that’s stopping my from getting the garmin is that i dont no if it does this.

Most satnavs have a list of options to plan routes following various rules – fastest, shortest, avoid motorways, avoid tolls etc.
A congestion charge is a toll. Select avoid tolls. Or just pay the charge. Maybe avoiding the zone could be more expensive in fuel.
