Garmin Gps Can Find Any Police Depts But My Local Police. Any Ideas?

I click on police and my 205w finds police depts from 50 miles away but not my local police dept. I also serch for police with the same results. Any ideas

If Your Gps (garmin Nuvia) Is Stolen, Is There Anyway The Police Department Or Gps Company Could Track It Down?

They can do by matching up the serial number obviously.
Garmin have an online registration system – so if you registered it there, and it was stolen, you could tell them that it had been stolen, and if someone then tried to re-register it, they would get a record of that.
Lots of ifs there unfortunately.
If you are asking if they could do it remotely, as in find out where it was, no.
