If I understand the question correct, you are asking about the traffic updates that are available? That is a sdubscription service and requires that you have one of the satellite radios. XM or Sirius I think. My nav system doesn’t have that option.

Garmin Nuvi 650 Startup Signal (antenna Search) ? I Just Bought One, But Mine Needs About 5 To 7 Min To Acquir

acquire satelite signal during startup when I was in downtown Seattle..
there were many tall buildings that time
I wasnt in them, but I was arround them !!
