I Have Garmin Nuvi 200 Series How Do I Get Pictures Into My Picture Viewer?

There are 2 methods.
1) Copy JPEG photos to a SD memory card and insert the card into your Nuvi 200. You may keep the SD card in your Nuvi or just insert the card when you want to view photos. From the home screen click on the settings, which is the wrench icon. Click on the Picture Viewer icon and your photos should be there.
or
2) Plug your Nuvi 200 into a USB cable and drag photos to the /Garmin directory of your Nuvi. The Nuvi needs to be recognized by your computer as a mass storage device, for files/images to be transferred. On my computer it was mapped as a drive letter F. Be warned though, there is a limited amount of space. After deleting used voice files I only had about 40MB free for pictures.If you have difficulty configuring this, I would fall back to option 1.

Including information like which Garmin you have (there are several dozen), what kind of maps you want (water nav, topo, driving directions) and where you are would improve the odds of getting a good answer.
Generically, the answer is “Garmin Mapsource”; the precise edition (”Inland Marine”, “Topo”, “City Navigator North America NT”, etc.) will depend on what you’re looking for..

Garmin Nuvi 760 Not Charging When Plugged Into ‘95 Altima Lighter Socket.?

My Garmin Nuvi 760 is not charging when plugged into lighter socket. The socket appears to be too short for the plug, and part of the plug remains outside the socket. Is there any attachment that cam be used to charge the Garmin while driving in the Altima?

How Do I Load An Mp3 Audio Book Into My Garmin 660? The Instructions Are Unclear To A New User.?

Plug your 660 into your computer via the usb cable. This will create a virtual drive on your computer. On my computer it is Drive L:, but this will vary based on the other drives you have on your computer. Open this drive. You should see a directory called “Audible”. Place your audio books in that directory. I don’t know if this requires that they be in Audible format (.aa) for them to show up. The other option would be to put them in the MP3 directory, and treat them like mp3 music files. It should allow you to play them, but the bookmarking, etc. probably won’t work.
If the file needs to be in you may be able to find a convert from MP3 to AA format. I found one at http://www.all-music-converter.com/ that might do the job.
