Are Verizon Wireless Gps Phones Good Products Or Is A Hand Held Unit Like Garmin A More Reliable Product?
Probably a Garmin
The ones that use GPS to tell ur pace, heart rate, distance…etc
There is one available for $60. Would you say this is a good price?
I’ve found it for £129 with Halfords, much cheaper than anywhere else.
Do GPS devices give detailed maps eg. streams, fields? Where do I get therse maps
I need a Sat Nav for basic use, is this one any good because its a good price?
Depends on what features you want. All of the Nuvi series are good. The vary in price due to the extra features like text to speech(speaking street names), mp3 player, live traffic update, extra maps like canada, multiple point routing, voice entry, etc…
Garmin is a great brand of GPS systems. The best in my opinion. It has great route calculations and reroute times, etc…
If you want a simple get me where I need to go GPS without all the frills(mp3 player, traffic update, etc…) get a Garmin 200 is only $130 with 500 customer reviews it has a 4.5 out of 5 starshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NVZE5M?tag…
If you want other features added on if you look on that website you’ll see a chart that says “Which nüvi is Best for You?” and you can find a system that best suits you. All of them are good just take your time to find one for you.
You download the maps from the Garmin websitehttp://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/us/maps
If you buy a Garmin from Amazon they usually have the newer ones stocked so the maps already on the unit shouldnt be that old.
i thought about the 660 but it is discontinued so im not sure about map updated anymore im new to the gps thing and need some advice
thanks
I’m beginning to doubt it, what do you think?
I just ordered this unit from GME Australia and can’t believe that the U.S. has had this model for nearly a year and we are just about to get our first shipment. Typical!!!
Anyways I will be using this unit with Bluechart and CitiNavigator Australia and would like to know if anybody has this unit and what they think?
