I am looking top buy a GARMIN Forerunner 405 but im getting confused in whether or not i need to buy the foot pod to allow me to see my pace?
Are there any other watches “good” that shows pace and distance ran?
I want to use it for counting calories burned during jumping rope and Wii Fit.
I was wonering if anyone has tried to use one in real time? For example, I want to drive across the country and use it with my laptop to tell me were I am right now, and when to turn much like if I had another GPS system. I spoke to the nice folks at Garmin, and they don’t seem to know.
Looking for a Garmin Forerunner 301 Wrist Top. It’s A GPS wrist top for runners and/or athletes. I can’t find it in stores. Do I need to order it or is there a local store that carries this Garmin. I need it for Monday! Thank you!
I just bought a Garmin Forerunner 405 and I want to do an interval workout without using the interval program. I mean I want to just start the timer and when I rest I hit the lap button, when I start again I hit the lap button. But I don’t want my rest time to be calculated into my average pace/total time. Any suggestions?
I have a garmin gps forerunner and it hooks up to the computer by a parallel cable, how do I connect it to my laptop which dont have parallel connections now? Is it garbage or is there any way to bypass this?
I need a gadget like this for my outside runs, and from research it seems like Garmin is king of this world. It appears that they’ve got three different models, the 205, 305, and 405. The only difference I saw was that the 205 costs a $100 less than the 305 and 405. So, what’s the difference between these three models?
I’m looking into purchasing a gps garmin watch. I’m just curious as to what is the difference in the two watches. I have read that people have had some issues with the 405. I didn’t know if maybe the 405cx corrected these issues. Thanks!!!
I ran a repeat in 6:20, it was either a 5:17 pace or a 4:52 pace, a big difference, according to yahoo and google maps it was 1.3 miles, but according to the garmin, which is unaccurate in elevation, it was 1.2. Any help would be useful?
I’m new to running on a track, but I just joined this running club and bought a Garmin Forerunner 305 to measure performance. It seems pretty complicated and I’m not sure how to best use it to make sure my laps are on pace. Any advice?
