i would like to have software on my gps like the kind they have on mapsource, but i’m not really prepared to spend over $110 just to do it. any thoughts?

Hi Alice, I am afraid you are out of luck with your Nuvi 670.
Although the company provides maps for each and every ME country it don’t do Israel.

maybe if you log in some Newsgroups Scene guys that deal with GPS unit modding/hacking you may be able to find the Map installer you’re looking for.

You didn’t tell use which Garmin GPS model you own. However your best bet is to go to Garmin’s web site and download the webupdater application. If there are additional voices available for your model, you’ll be able to get them through that app.http://www.garmin.com/products/webupdate…
