Try looking at http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62564 It says in part “After being unable to install the wifi driver (following message is displayed after installing the drivers from SanDisk homepage: “the program you have installed may not display proberly because it was designed for previous version of windows mobile software”) I surfed in the internet and found several comments that the Garmin Ique M5 is sold with Windows 2003 Second Edition preinstalled that is incompatible with the drivers of the wifi card.

This Garmin has option for car/motorcycle, truck, bus, emergency, and taxi. I’ve used it as a truck route, and it has lead me to low clearance bridges, low weight limited bridges, and very narrow downtown turns. Is this GPS equiped with truck route? If not, then why is the option there? Somebody please help me

I have heard that TomTom Customer service is non-existant and they don’t respond to emails or phone calls.. I think only snail-mail.. or they take months to respond. Plus I have heard that updating the maps is a pain or they don’t have new maps.
I have the Garmin 660 I think it’s amazing.. I bought it from amazon I couldn’t believe they had it like $400 off and I got it for the same price as the lower low models ..

The Nuvi 350 doesn’t have a remote but I found that didn’t bother me.
I had a remote with my Streetpilot 2610 but I realized I never really used it except to make sure it worked. I wouldn’t let the remote make my decision.

Yes…..I’ve found it usually starts about a mile ahead. I bought one a couple of months ago, and my technology hating boyfriend and I are very impressed by it. The information you can get is just unbelievable. You can bring up ATM’s, hospitals, shopping and restaurants (both categorized into the type you’re looking for…), gas, etc. We went to a place about an hour south of here and my boyfriend wanted a B.B.Q. restaurant–I entered “Rest’s”, then barbecue, and it came up with about 15 of them, listing how far and direction. You just touch the one you want and hit “Go”. Unless I’m just going to a local store or something, even if I know where I’m going, I now take it everywhere, for that reason…….hope this helped. (& if you like colors, Best Buy exclusively carries pink ones, which I got!, and they had the perfect case I got for it too-just slips into–black with pink felt inside!!!-around $20)
