Are Built In Navigation Units In Cars As Good As The Stand Alone Units, Such As Tom Tom Or Garmin?

They are the same and have the same software but only as far as maps go..
The stand alone ones (mine anyway) also gives you the option of a walking route or bicycle route.
It is easier to connect it to your home computer and download different voices and even make your own splash picture.(it is too hard for me to bring my car into the house to do this.
I have Yoda, Darth Vader, Patrick Stewart, Ozzy Osbourne(he swears), Steve Irwin, and a couple of other voices downloaded onto mine for directions.

How Can I Connect My Bluetooth Enabled Garmin Nu360 Gps To My Car’s Stereo For Audio?

The nuvi should have an audio out jack for earphones/speakers.
Here are a few options that i can think of for outputting the nuvi’s sound to the car stereo using the output jack.
If your car stereo has an aux input then you can connect the nuvi’s audio out directly to the stereo’s aux in.
If the stereo has a cassette player then one of those cassette adapters with the wire connecting to the audio device will work.
You can also use a FM-transmitter which takes the output from the nuvi and broadcasts the audio on a selected FM station. Simply set your radio to the same station.

How Can I Listen To My Garmin Nuvi 350’s Mp3 Player In My Car’s Stereo?

How does it work? I’ve a CD/FM radio in my car and want to listen to the music via my GPS. Is there any extra cable I need to buy and hook up or what?

How To Remove Garmin’s Adhesive Disk (for Handheld Gps) From My Car’s Windshield?

I stuck Garmin adhesive disk for handheld GPS onto my car’s windshield without seeing Garmin’s note that it is “permanent”!
I’m planning to sell my car and the buyer wants none of it!
What is the safest (/simplest) way to remove this dashboard adhesive disk?
