I would like to buy my dad a good sat nav below £150. I spotted the NAVIGON 3310 Max and the Garmin Nuvi 350.
The Navigon one looks overall nicer, but the Garmin one has got Text-to-speech function which I think could be very useful!
Has anybody tried either and want to give some advice?

I am thinking about getting one. I know Garmin is highly rated but so is Tom Tom. A lot of people prefer Tom Tom and it is about $20 less expensive than the Garmin. Just wondering the main difference. Let’s say between the Tom Tom One and the Garmin 200?
I’m planning to get a garmin gps but when I looked online, there were so many series available. Baffled by the variety, I don’t know which one is right for me. I need something preferably 4.3 inches, a speaking gps, real time traffic alerts and reroutes etc. I don’t really care about bluetooth or picture views. Can someone give me differences between all the models?
I need a gadget like this for my outside runs, and from research it seems like Garmin is king of this world. It appears that they’ve got three different models, the 205, 305, and 405. The only difference I saw was that the 205 costs a $100 less than the 305 and 405. So, what’s the difference between these three models?
I got a Garmin for christmas from my wife. Coincidentally I got a Garmin for her too. We do not need 2 of them, and we are debating on which one to keep. Which one is better? The 255 or the 350?
I been beating my brains with this one, I like some features on the Lowrance, but I do not like the fact they have out dated maps and it sometimes freezes. The C330 has excellent reveiws, but it seems simplistic. Does anyone have any experiences with these units???The TomTom has some mapping problems I hear. I want something within the $250-350 range.
