Hi, A Boy That I Briefly Dated Has My Garmin Gps And Is Basically Refusing To Give It Back.?
Is there anything I can do without the situation getting really ugly to get it back?

When I take the 300 mile trip from where I live to my parents house I use my GPS to sort of be my little reminder for when to take the left split, right split or whatever, because I tend to zone out while i’m driving. The problem is, no matter how much I mess with the navigation settings, it tries to send me off the highway and on to the “back roads”.
It is fully charged, has the latest firmware and I have tried to reset it. Although I cannot view anything it appears to “work” because it beeps when I touch some areas of the screen.
or maybe download them from a site?
i checked the garmin site already but i couldn’t find anything.
by audio files i mean the speech system of course.
everything else works tho.
You must have received a hand book when you bought the GPS, why not look it up or go to www.garmin.com

The batteries in the back are re-chargable. It says nothing in the instructions.
I have a Garmin C330 GPS unit that I want to update to the 2009 mapset, but, I want to back up the 2008 set in case of any problems.
I would think that you should just be able to find it under my computer but I can’t, anyone know how to do this?
