Garmin Nuvi 1200 Replacement Battery Question?

Dont lithium batteries die over time? I just got my garmin, and was wondering if on down the road I need to replace the batteries for fresh ones.. .well how do i do that? There is no door on the back of the unit, so im confused if i even CAN replace the batteries. I’m in no need to do this now, BUT.. after I was looking am not sure they can be replaced at all. Anyone have any info on battery replacement of this unit if needed?

Is Garmin 1200 Gps A Good Buy?

I am going to buy a gps first time, looking for a deal within $200-250. I heard garmin does not have updates available, pls tell me which one to go for. Thanks.
