Do The Garmin Nuvi Gps’s Speak The Street Names?
I saw the talking Garmin Nuvi Demo, and it just said to “turn right” or “turn left” here and it didn’t pronounced the street names – example “turn left of Main Street”.

Yes it will speak street names, if the Garmin model has “Text To Speech” feature. For example a basic Garmin 255/255W will say “Turn right to Elm Street”
Not only that, if you will enter a name at an address you created it will say and pronounce it as programmed. example: “arriving at grandma’s house to the left” The unit knows if your destination is in the left or right base on the house number you entered.
It depends on the model. Find one that is capable of “text-to-speech” or TTS. Even with those models, you have the option of selecting TTS or no-TTS.
yes it does.
