Updating Garmin Gps System To Bluetooth?
I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 200 and I noticed that SOME Garmins come with a feature that allows you to connect it to your phone via Bluetooth and use it as a handsfree device, but my device doesn’t have this feature. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to install this feature onto my device somehow? If anyone knows, lemme know! Thanks!
it is not possible to add bluetooth functionality to your nuvi 200. bluetooth is a very low power radio that acts as cable replacement. therefore, since your nuvi doesn’t have that piece of hardware you are out of luck.
if you really want that functionality you are going to have to splurge and buy a new unit. my nuvi 360 has it, but to be honest, although i intentionally bought a model with bluetooth i find myself rarely using it.
