I have a Garmin. It works fine and shows good directions, but it costs as much to log onto their website and update it as it cost new. I heard TomTom has a free update service, but that’s just what I heard. Don’t know for sure. Hope this helps.
I’m not familiar with Tom tom but I seen a Garvin in action yesterday and it sucked. I do love my GPS navigation that I have on my Blackberry by Sprint but I don’t get enough chance to use it.

my tom tom is excellent. i tapped in ***** yesterday and it took me straight to my ex wifes house, no problem.
