Is The Garmin Nuvi 200 A Good Gps To Buy As My First Gps?
I have never used a gps before but I hear garmin is the best, and the nuvi 200 looks cool. Any ideas?

I think the Nuvi 200 is a phenomenal first GPS. It has all the features of the StreetPilot C330 in a smaller case with a longer battery life and sharper, brighter display. It has the travel features like a picture viewer, world clock, currency converter, measurement converter and calculator. The unit features an SD Card slot for expandability and comes with regional maps – if you purchase one in the US it should have the lower 48 United States on it from the factory. Other maps are available from Garmin.
The only thing this unit does not have that you may want is the ability to say street names out loud. It lacks the text-to-speech feature. Also it does not do walking directions like the other Nuvi models.
Check out my review of this unit on my blog: http://thegpsguy.wordpress.com – Hope you find it useful. Also, you can check out the Nuvi 200 at BuyGPSNow.com (http://www.buygpsnow.com/Affiliate.aspx?id=149) – they have a really knowledgeable forum you can post to with questions or comments, too. Very helpful people.

yes….it is awesome. I have used it many many times. If there were no cars on the road, you could literally black out your windows and drive using the GPS as your windshield. Very good product.
