How To Get Pass Security Code On The Garmin Nuvi?
My friend bought the Garmin Nuvi off another friend and he dont know what the pass code is. is there a default code or does he need a cord to power reset it? any help would be nice

The security code can be bypassed if you take the GPS receiver to its Security Location. That would be wherever your friend entered the security code for the first time. Once there, try disabling the Garmin Lock feature so you don’t have to worry about being locked out of the GPS receiver. Do that or enter a new security code in (if you can) that you will remember.
If the unit is locked, I don’t think the security code or the unit can be reset unless you send it to Garmin. It’s part of the security feature. If the unit gets into the wrong hands and the person doesn’t know the code or the security location, the thing is pretty much useless.
