Gps Question. Which Holds Sat Reception Better The Garmin Gps 60 With The Larger Antennas Or The Legend Hcx?
Trying to find a GPS unit that I can plug into the computer and actually use without constatnly loosing sat reception. the Legend with out the high sensitivity receiver was worthless.
The Legend HCx will perform far better than the GPS60, if the 60 does not have an external antenna attached. Can’t say how the performance would compare if you were using an external antenna with the 60.
Those Map60’s are phenomenal compared to the ones without the external antenna. But you still need a view of the sky, either outdoors or a window that has a clear view of the sky like your car windshield.
