Is The Garmin Nuvi 760 Really That Much Better Than The 660?
The specs seem similar but I heard the 760’s antenna was less sensitive but that it improved other things like letting you know if your destination was on the left or right side of the street.

and I believe there was an option to mount an antenna on one of the Garmins. Otherwise most people go for price but some think the search engine in the software is better than other companies. I use magellan and signal acquisition at times is frustrating waiting to get the signals from the gps satellites.
The bluetooth option and use of FM signal may be important factors in your decision, but for infrequent users of GPS, the basic ones are good enough for most users. When you use a GPS a brighter and larger screen also comes into play.I usually like hearing a female voice giving me directions.
