Hey,
I use a Tom Tom on my Honda, close enough. If your stereo does not have an aux input or an Ipod input (like they call them nowadays), then you can use an FM modulator to get your garmin to the stereo. I am sure the Garmin has an audio output, so you would hook it to the modulator, and tune the stereo to the modulator. you will need a couple of lighter sockets for this, so you may have install an extra one.
Good luck with this, mine works great this way!
If you’re spending that much money on a GPS unit to put on that expensive of a bike, I suggest you take it to a Harley shop and at least ask them what they would do, if not let them do it for you. Nothing wrong with spending a little more on such a nice bike.
Does your gps have a jack for a headset or external speakers? If so, just plug into your stereo’s aux input.
