Garmin Nuvi 760 Not Charging When Plugged Into ’95 Altima Lighter Socket.?
My Garmin Nuvi 760 is not charging when plugged into lighter socket. The socket appears to be too short for the plug, and part of the plug remains outside the socket. Is there any attachment that cam be used to charge the Garmin while driving in the Altima?
Try the charger in another car and see if it works. If it does, then contact the Nissan dealer and ask the parts department about it.
Edit: I forgot to mention this, but try another device (like a cell phone) in that socket and see if you’re getting power from it.
check the fuse or if you can’t find the fuse just push in the lighter and see if it works. The adapter that comes with the nuvi looks long but works in any 12 volt socket.
