What Online Tool Is The Best To Plot Routes And Transfer Them To A Garmin Edge 705?
I’ve been using bicycling.com’s online tool to plot different routes in detail and I’m wondering
a) if they can be transferred to the Edge 705?
and
b) if the huge amount of points along the route will be an issue?

I found this a couple of weeks ago. It is designed for Garmin Edge and Forerunner users. You can plan your route and load it to your GPS as a course. I have found the website a bit slow at times especially when processing a larger route. I’ve done up to 120 miles on it. http://www.bikely.com/
The link works as of the date I wrote this, but they are being absorbed by BikeRadar.com so google that if the link fails.
Bikely works very well for planning and is a bit more refined than toaster, but it is not as seamless to get a route/course into your Edge/Forerunner. This site also allows you to look at routes other riders have uploaded.
