The Solio Classic solar charger costs $99.95 http://www.rei.com/product/764524
Read the reviews first. It requires a lot of direct sunlight (solar, duh), and no one mentioned attaching it to a backpack, though at 5.8 ounces I’m sure it’s doable.
Have you considered hand crank power? http://www.thetravelinsider.info/roadwar…
Or mini wind-mill power? http://www.motherearthnews.com/Alternati…
go to http://www.householdhacker.com and it shows how to use a aaa battery to charge anything with a plug
look on google
save weight, don’t bring it. you need to bring a map and compass anyway (in case that fancy gps breaks or runs out of batteries), so just use those. how much navigation do you need to do trail hiking anyway?
