mine can be problematic at times, last time I asked Garmins support and was recommended to do a hard reset, while either standing outside or in the car! This worked for a while, but I still lose signal in built up area`s! This is a weak point on them.
Is the aerial fully open (ie at right angles to the body)?
Is the unit far enough forward in the car & low down on the windscreen to have the best line of sight between it & satellites?
