I have a cheap garmin 12. I downloaded a program called “gardown” from someplace a few years ago and it works great. You have to format the lat-lon information the same as it appears in your downloaded waypoint files. You can import into that file using a comma delimited text file containing the waypoint names, latitudes, longitudes and descriptions of all your waypoints.

I WOULD just enter the way points manually from the PC to the GPS
