How Do I Get The My Garmin C530 Gps Unit To Audibly Announce Street Names?
My father owns a Garmin c340, we were playing with some of the settings and found that we could enable his device to audibly announce the street names during directions. In other words, while driving, it would say, “Turn left on Williams Street” instead of simply saying, “Turn left”. I was so impressed, I purchased a c530 because it offered more features. However, I can’t seem to get it to announce street names and can’t remember what we enabled on my fathers unit in the settings. I’m sure it’s possible, but I just can’t figure it out. I’ve updated the operating system and software from the Garmin webupdater, but was wondering if there was something else I need to download. Please help.
you should probably go to the store were u bought it from and ask them. or if you got it off ebay try calling the manufacturer
