You have to isolate the problem in the Nuvi or in the vehicle.
Does anything else (like the cigarette lighter or a cell phone) not work when plugged into the power socket you are using? If not, then I agree that it is likely a fuse in the circuit for that outlet .
Is there an additional 12 Volt outlet in the rear of the vehicle? Does the Nuvi work there? If so, then it is not a problem with the Nuvi.
Sometimes there is a fuse in the charger connector itself. If so, make sure it isn’t blown.
