The guys over at http://www.gpstravelmaps.com made this Egypt GPS map. It was very cool to use. We were able to see what tombs, ruins and pyramids were near us.
When we sail down the Nile it was really cool to see all the things that were on land by pressing the nearest POI function.
I could not believe how amazing Egypt was. My wife wanted to go and I was reluctant – I had my hear set on South Africa. The diving was spectacular.

By the way most of the available maps are for cairo and alexandria.
you should keep in mind also maps are not really detailed like in europe and UK.
