any recommendations? I looked at the Tomtom go 720 and Garmin Nuvi 255w but I’m still undecided. if there’s any other features you think is good feel free to mention it. I’m in the US btw and won’t really use it in diff countries.
Please & thank you!

I have a TomTom 720 and I love it, I also tried many different units such as Garmin but overall I settled with the TomTom and here’s why…….
1 – The display looks better – I mean with the gas station and Wal-mart icons ect..directly on the map its just really nice thing to have..Also you can download more POI’s for all you faverite stores if you want….
2 – Free map updates , lately they have been extending the Hwy by my house and it was nice to see it changed on my TomTom…
3 – The display is a better quality then most others, meaning its a hard surface not soft like most LCD’s when you press on them you can damage the screen, Try it you’ll see what I mean…
4 – The processor speed at 400 mHz it calculates and recalculates much faster then the other including Garmin…..
5 – Better maps , using Teleatlas the same map provider for Google maps and also owned by TomTom give you superior map quality….
There’s so much more but I’ve ran out of time hope that helps……Red
