I’m Trying To Figure Out If Garmin Or Tomtom Is The Way To Go For A Gps!?
I’m going to get my husband a GPS for Christmas because he’s obsessed with map questing as it is but we don’t have a printer so then he gets mad that he has to write directions down lol. It’s a win/lose situation but I’ve read alot of reviews online about Garmin GPS products and TomTom products and am having a problem deciding between which brand to get! I’m looking to spend $250.00 at the most!
Anyone have either of these?Or know anyone that does!?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! THANKS in advance!
My partner and our daughter got me a Tom Tom One for my birthday this year and I love it. We had a satnav system in a hire car a couple of years ago on holidays and my partner she love it because she didn’t have to navigate. As always the more you spend the more features you get and don’t use my One cost about $150 CDN and it is pretty basic. It doesn’t announce the street names but it does announce turns and counts down distances.
They used to tease me about needing it in case I got lost in our small city but we have used it in a near by city and the girls took it to a close by large city for a girls weekend away from Dad and found it easy to use especially when I programmed their destinations into the beastie before they left. For them it was just a matter of picking their destination from a list and saying find the route.
As with most things people will fall into either of the camps and say theirs is the best. My advise is to get the one with the features you like at the price you want to pay. As I said mine is pretty basic and I like it that way.
