Gps Help, Please?
Hey I want to buy a GPS system for my dad as a Christmas gift. According to what others say, Garmin seems to be the best brand.
I want to purchase a system that is accurate, easy to use, and one that has text-to-speech(street names) commands.
I can only spend around $250.
I’ve been looking at the Garmin c340 and the Garmin Nuvi260.
Any Advice? Thanks!

What a gret gift for your DAD! I think the Garmin’s are the best buy. I did do a review for ezine articles comparing the c340 to the TomTom One. The article also has some other things to consider when deciding which portable GPS to get.
Feel free to check out the article.

if you can’t get it to go by clicking, try cut and paste or you can just email me and I will send you the info.
My GPS has text to speech capability and I LOVE IT, especially in a busy city where the streets are close together; it makes going new places stress free!
Get the kind he says get. I don’t know the difference. I thought GPS was GPS.
Tom Tom One 3rd edition is only $150-$180.
Garmin is good, but the TomTom’s are also very good, and cheaper
