It looks like your only option would be to look into getting the full City Navigator NT North America. You will may be able to find a way to download it for use in the mapsource program (not legal), but as it requires unlock codes that are unique to your GPS unit, I doubt that you will be able to find a downloadable version that you can transfer to your GPS.
Your best bet would be to contact Garmin Support and they can give you the legal options that your 200w would support.
There must be someone out there that know’s a good unit for use in your car around the $ 300. range.
Garmin is the best
I prefer the Atlas – but go with what you know
It seems as if it got a warranty Gremlin…still, any suggestions would be appreciated.
Is there a free version of nav-voices.co.uk? because i dont want to pay for it. But can i convert tomtom voices into Garmin ones??? If so How??
GPS is Tom Tom or Garmin better for USA RV / Camping use?
Do you mean the view that shows which satellites are in view of the GPS receiver? The nuvi 200 does not show this screen. Higher-end nuvis will show you the satellite screen.
If I understand the question correct, you are asking about the traffic updates that are available? That is a sdubscription service and requires that you have one of the satellite radios. XM or Sirius I think. My nav system doesn’t have that option.
Will it show me the maps of Cuba and where I can go on the island or ???… I will be heading there for their new year and I was wondering if my Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS would work outside of the states and if so will it work on the island of Cuba???… Thanks
Try this and see if it helps.
When you get there go to page 49http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/1262_Owne…
